Born out of hard work, dedication and a passion for helping others, NatraLocs was officially founded by Tabatha Loyd in 2017. Prior to pioneering NatraLocs, Tabatha earned her masters’ cert. in business and served in the U.S. Army.

Tabatha has been documenting her hair journey on YouTube (naturalbeauty0214) since 2013. Her followers continue to rely on her for advice, comfort, and honesty as they learn how to maintain a healthy crown. For years, Tabatha struggled to find natural products to properly moisturize and protect her type-4 curls, especially while on active duty serving her country. The lack of quality products available and constant exposure to harsh conditions caused irreparable damage. The aftermath resulted in a “big chop” which coincidentally marked the beginning of her loc journey.

Tabatha’s online following quickly grew as she shared quality D.I.Y formulas, loc maintenance tips and tutorials. Viewers were inspired by how quickly her (along with her husband’s) locs flourished. Realizing her calling for natural hair care, Tabatha set out to share her passion with the world!

Always with a focus on health and self-care, Tabatha documented her second “big chop” when facing postpartum shedding. Once again, she put a positive spin on her experience by taking to YouTube to show how easy growing healthy locs can be when utilizing a great hair care regimen and premium ingredients.

Tabatha resides in Colorado with her husband Brandon. They are the proud parents of Brayden, Lenia and Bryson.
