Amar Draco

Tattoo and Visual Artist

Amar has spent his own life exposed to the arts. His great-grandmother was an amazing charcoal and pastel artist. She drew amazing portraits. His grandfather also drew in pencil and charcoal. His mother is also an artist. Amar and his mother discuss and share art daily as it is their passion. He always says, “He was were created to create.”

Amar started as a portrait artist. It was something Amar did in his spare time for extra money. Although he came from an art family, he did not truly see anyone or knew of anyone that made a living from art. It was just a hobby, and he was expected to get a “real” education or trade.

Amar experienced a personal tragedy at the age of eighteen that would change his life. He was able to cope with the tragedy for years by reading every book on art and tattoos he could find and drawing daily. During these years he honed in on his natural talents and began doing his first tattoos. The rest is history!
